Sod you Jack, what's right for me
- Sod you Jack, what's right for me,
Is what's right for me, me that is, n' ma family,
Ain't nuthin right, n' ain't nuthin' wrong;
If it's good to us, we just go along.
Sure ain't ma trouble,
- Why should I care 'bout th' heap o rubble,
Why should I care 'bout th' terror n' graffiti;
Or come t' that th' breakdown of society,
Ya can do what ya want, ya can drop ya're guard,
Jus' so long it don't fall out n' ma backyard.
- Y're justice n' y're progress,
Me? ah' couldn't care less,
Global issues, th' air n' sea;
Hey man, just gimme ma MTV,
Why should I worry, why should a care,
When th' bottom line is, there's only me here.
- I don't mean to be mean,
I just got what ya call a selfish gene,
See, ya gotta be strong, if y're gonna survive,
Lest th' rest all get ya, n' eat y' alive;
See ah belong t' th' rank n' file,
Can't see nuthin wrong with a padeophile.
- Some like pink an' some like blue,
Ain't nuthin' else matters, only you,
Death camps n' rape, riddin' n' cleansin;
Ain't no need for you feel any tension.
God is dead, or so ya think,
'Tween y'self n' evil, you can't see any link.
- Th' universe n' humans? Th're yours t' waste,
Ain't it just a matter of human taste,
That's ok, I mean so long's, there no other way;
Like, y' know a judgement day,
But what if God is, n' if his heart it breaks,
Sure ya' don't think, that kind o' ups th' stakes?
- Sod you Jack? Naw, that won't do,
That's philosphy that just ain't true,
See God is good, righteous n' true;
N' that's what he 'spects from me n' you,
Y' see Jesus came n' set th' pace,
He died on a Cross, so y'd know God's grace.
- Sod you Jack, what's right for you?
Naw, never, that ain't good, that won't do,
Cause 'are' things that right, n' things is wrong;
If it's good to God, 'then' we go along.
