Let these People go
- Why can't I let these people go?
Who've hurt, who've wounded, caused me grief;
Why in me is grace so low,
Is it horrid sinful pride, or simply just my unbelief?
- Why can't I forgive, why not forget?
Bury the slander, rejection, accept the stress;
Why go about all day and fret,
Why not these people jus' love and bless?
- Why can't I be like Jesus Christ?
Father forgive them, they know not what they do;
Father to me abound with grace,
Then I'll be able t' do What Jesus Would Do.
