James R. Hamilton, 'The Street Preacher', was a member of Bethel Evangelical Free Church, in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. He was recognised and separated for the work of the gospel by the Church at Bethel in 1987. He is an ordained minister, Reformed, Protestant and Presbyterian by persuasion. He spent eight years as a home missionary working with an Evangelical missionary Society. He has been the Pastor of Churches in Carlisle and Warrington, in the mid 1990's. He is also, at this time, the Minister of Fole Reformed Evangelical Chapel, in Staffordshire. Alongside the Chapel work, he works evangelising, mostly within the bounds of Staffordshire, preaching the gospel to people on the streets of the major towns and cities within the county.
Also, His wider field of work He also ministers to other congregations from time to time throughout the country. He has written hymns, songs, books and compiles evangelistic literature. The Street Preacher is a ministry, but also an association. The aim is to lift up a banner, an ensign, that will gather like-minded men, Protestant and Reformed, who are dedicated to the serious, undiluted and courageous preaching of the gospel of God's righteousness throughout the United Kingdom and elsewhere. To strengthen and encourage one another, in fellowship and support for one another.
'Preaching from the unimpeachable Bible!
Preaching the unassailable message of the cross! Preaching the unquenchable love of Christ! Preaching the unblemished righteousness of God!'
